This "Go Live" screen takes these things as inputs and then publishes a 30311 with them? Shosho app has a very similar functionality for BYO RTMP server users. We save these details and publish 30311 with user going live from phone camera.
We also offer a Shosho server which is based on zap stream and works the same, that is when a user streams to their stream key, the server publishes the 30311, so there is no need for the app to also do it.
What kinds do you use for non-live video? There are a few competing kinds. I think au9913 is looking for a video kind support.

It does not fully work as you've intended but it's getting a lot of interest so you may be on to something to commit some more time to?
If the vision is a watch party where people can watch the same thing together at the same time, the first disconnect is you're using a VOD-style video (MP4). The thing that is missing in VOD there's no concept of "current time" so the client has no way of knowing where other sessions are playing back.
It would be needed to use an HLS style of link (m3u8) where the server is keeping track of "when is now" and when a new viewer shows up, only presents the current chunk, so everyone ends up watching the same thing at the same time (how TV stations work)
Same goes for presenting multiple "streaming" tag links. Clients only know what to do with one of them at a time, and can't say what other viewers are viewing.
What you're on to here there is very cool.
If you were to want to truly have a crack, the missing piece is to take your MP4s, convert into a chunked format e.g. m3u8, and then broadcast that to a streaming server host (self host or e.g. Zap Stream) to publish the Nostr event with only the one m3u8 streaming tag.
There is some off the shelf software that would let you do exactly that, e.g.

Hi Mar, thanks, great feedback! I found the 30311 event for your stream and you're right. What should have happened was that the recording URL gets added to the Nostr event as a "recording" tag, but that tag is absent. That's a bug. I didn't test extensively with longer streams and so perhaps it relates to a) that disconnection you experienced after 30 minutes, or b) perhaps that longer recordings take more time to process and I need to expand some tolerances. I'll look into it!

Do you see how at the end of the URL there you have some sort of extra characters, like "%22". It''s hard to make out exactly, but it looks like a mistake. Try to copy and paste only the exact URL itself which ends in /api/v1

I have just launched a new Nostr Live Streaming Server with recordings and VOD playback of your live streams, so that people can view you live, or come back and watch your replay whenever they like.
I'm looking for testers and am interested in your feedback.
The server uses Cloud Flare live stream as the backend and serves your recordings from there, so should be (I hope!) highly available and responsive.
It also solves the issue we had for Shosho users on iPhone where the server would disconnect mid-stream.

If you are on Shosho and want to test it IRL, click Add Server > Nostr Streaming Server > and then enter: "https://api.shosho.live/api/v1" and the app will connect.
For other systems, the API is based-on and interchangeable-with ZS, so swap "api-core.zap.stream" with "api.shosho.live" and it should "just work".
