Is there any study why many muslims leans towards or have soft corner for communist/socialist ideology?

I think its because of the first glance at islam is discouragement of material world and wealth. Further they build entire world view over this model ignoring all foundations. Socialist muslims end up worst kind of muslims, potentially apostate.
