I’m holding off a little extra on our cucumber’s this year I have had bad luck the last few years and I think we started them too early.
Where are you planting?
I really should try growing cucumbers. My 14 year old loves pickles so much that people will get her jars of pickles as gifts. I think growing "pickles" should be part of her schooling this year.

I got around 50 full-sized cukes off of a single plant one year, but my daughter is so picky she probably wouldn't eat them even if she made them.
I understand that. Mine is picky too. She once waited us out 3 whole days of not eatimg because she didn't like the food in the house. We gave in. Not sure if that was good or bad at that point.
