Yeah I'm not a fan of this but the cat's out of the bag. Knee jerk reactions like advocating censorship or "patches" are just as likely to bring up even more unintended consequences.

It'll all be ok. I have a feeling this will be a flash in the pan. Best thing to do is to reflect on how we go about accepting changes to bitcoin from here on out.
