Feels like most of the active users are bots and there is maybe 1000 actual people on here.

Most nostr users from what I can gather do not use it as a Twitter clone, they use it as part of another app, likely without even knowing it

100k is actual real people posting / month. But we don’t need millions. I got 2000 “friends” on Insta and in fact I’m interacting with 100-200 max.

Nostr is like Bitcoin. It doesn’t fake scale, it exposes how inflated and hollow “mass adoption” is in the mainstream.

Ok. But bitchat is a nostr app with way more users. It just uses nostr differently than a Twitter clone

Ah you’re right Bitchat is another story I was focusing on Nostr socials.
