So basically create 5 Nostr accounts, and then verify as many bots as you want. This isn't going to work or accomplish anything. This is just an unsafe usage of a private key. I highly recommend to avoid this service.

Urging anyone following me to share this information, and teach people not trust entering there private key on random sites. Especially one with no true logic. This is not going to prevent spam bots. Anyone can make 5 nostr accounts and verify as many bots as they want. Not hard. This is just unsafe practice of private keys! Not cool! Spread this info people! 💜🧡

Logic of this verification aside it does seem to support NIP-07
Maybe UI should do a better job emphasizing it.
In terms of the logic, thinking about it some more…yeah I guess it just takes one person who is verified as not being a bot to then verify some bots.

Totally agree, if you use that service use an extension : nos2x , alby , nostore on ios.

these are a million times better than this ridiculous service
I will probably bring this up weekly till the service stops.
Would you give up your #bitcoin keys like this? Not everyone had good intentions and seems like you're giving away much for little returns here.
