Replying to Avatar cloud fodder

Ah, that's sad. I'm curious which parts *really need search? I like the idea of not needing search except on the local db.. but I'm also just wary of this search extension since I haven't seen any OSS implementing it. Does primal do it?

Amethyst doesn't have a local db yet :) it's all in memory. But search is only used to find new profiles when you click the search button.
