This night the SSD in my node completely died, isn't even recognized anymore.

Always make sure you have Backups!

😢🫡 You mean a backup SSD or also backup of the data? Time to start running my node with a RAID config?

This was the only SSD of the node but I luckily had external channel backup and a seed backup. If you have any other important data on it RAID is probably well invested money.

Also had a bx500 once. Stopped working in less than 3 months.

This one was working in nodes for ~3 years now, but next one will be a Samsung, never had a failure with these

Also had a bad experience with crucial BX series. Crucial MX or any Samsung is the way to go if you ask me.
