If you’re wanting a newer build of fancy ui for #meshtastic on the T-Deck and you don’t want to compile it yourself for whatever reason, you can grab a new image from here:

Thx. I'll try it. . What is the difference between *.bin and *.factory.bin?

I’ll be honest, I’m not really sure. When you use the meshtastic flasher you have the full install or upgrade with the upgrade leaving settings in place. I just use the factory one, but yeah, both will work. 😁

Actually, now I think about it, maybe factory has the boot loader. I use the launcher app though so probably why I don’t notice.

It worked 🎇 After struggeling a bit with the Launcher, I got the FancyUI running. Thanks for providing the bins. The UI looks very nice and feels early, but basically working.

Yeah, it does crash a lot but it can only get better right? I’ll continue to update the firmware on that link as it evolves.

Launcher is quirky, I found it stayed rotated 180 degrees after a couple of resets. I fixed that by manually amending the config file on the SD card. The other thing is I didn’t realise pressing enter when booting took you to the menu. All works great now, although the trackball is a bit sensitive.
