Posted about the first game ever published to Nostr this past week. Could be worth noting, nostr:npub19mduaf5569jx9xz555jcx3v06mvktvtpu0zgk47n4lcpjsz43zzqhj6vzk 😁
Very excited to announce that, as far as I know, this is the first game ever published to #nostr !
nostr:npub1arkn0xxxll4llgy9qxkrncn3vc4l69s0dz8ef3zadykcwe7ax3dqrrh43w has now implemented the essential flow for our submission to the Nostrasia Hackathon, #CrashGlow. We're excited to make more progress, but in the meantime, please read our boltfun update and try out the game!

That’s awesome! And something we’ll definitely include, thanks for tagging.
Can you be more specific though? “First game ever” is a bit broad. There has been chess over nostr, choose your own adventure games, and everyone’s favorite word game… nostr:npub136ljffk35zaknaauukrrlmpgdle6p6a0mlcw383w6gvas0epjguqc8mumr to name a few. Seems like you’re doing much more under the hood to make it interactive within a note though. I just want to report it accurately, and if we say “first game” there will be a ton of “aktually” replies.
Keep building cool shit! We’ll keep reporting it 🤙
That's a good distinction to make. It might be best to say that this is a novel approach to publishing a game to Nostr. Or, it's a foundation for a new games-layer built into Nostr.
The event = the game. It's a kind 1 event. Games can be liked, zapped, commented on, and of course played. That's the value we're aiming for with this project.
