Just like your Lightning Address is a simple DNS based alias for a Lightning LNURL pay interface.
Renamed to "Nostr address (nip05)" in Iris edit profile
public key = user name; private key = password. Everyone understand username and password
or, id and password.

I've experienced it too on Firefox mobile. Trying to copy npub but it doesn't copy anything to the clipboard
Hmm, could be related to it trying to use navigator.share on mobile as the first option instead of clipboard copy

"Handle" and "Username" (vs "Display name") are also pretty established. Better than npub are also nprofiles, as they include a relay.
