Commercialized IOT was bad back in the day. Now Its just gonna get worse.
Most people who don't know, won't know that this tech can be used in nefarious ways, and will have homes with built-in motion tracking, body analysis, continuous listening devices in the background.
I can see only 2 ways around this:
Go Analog at home
Or
Be a chad and build your own secure network. Its actually not that hard with a couple of arduinos.
