Protesters gather across France on Wednesday during the “Block Everything” movement, marking the first day in office of new Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu.

The movement is an expression of the French people’s discontent, and they are demanding better public services, more taxes on the rich, and less for the poor.

Obstructed highways, burned barricades, and individuals holding placards were seen all over the country.
