Your digital identity on Nostr isn't associated with any specific server or company, so there is no specific server or company that can ban you, as long as you replicate your events across multiple relays. You can even backup them and upload them to new relays if necessary.

Still, Nostr isn't truly resistant to government censorship (especially from your own government), since people can be arrested.

It is resistant to corporate censorship, however.
