Living in Nashville and being a musician, I have so many friends grappling with this problem, teetering on the edge of calling it quits.
As in this article, the consensus seems to be that the only way out is through. In this case, the way out is more likely if you opt out.

I would argue that music is particularly challenged, post-streaming. Easier to produce, easier to distribute, but audience capture is near absolute.
Film & TV, to a lesser degree. Fine art is nearly free of it.
Artwork is copied, ripped off all the time
It's why I don't publish anything online, I only display work in person at live events
I live just like a solo traveling musician, same lifestyle, same ritual
Booking Gigs and Touring
I’m very selective with what art I share online. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
