Living in Nashville and being a musician, I have so many friends grappling with this problem, teetering on the edge of calling it quits.

As in this article, the consensus seems to be that the only way out is through. In this case, the way out is more likely if you opt out.

I hope more will try. #value4value

This is the case for any artist in any medium

I would argue that music is particularly challenged, post-streaming. Easier to produce, easier to distribute, but audience capture is near absolute.

Film & TV, to a lesser degree. Fine art is nearly free of it.

Artwork is copied, ripped off all the time

It's why I don't publish anything online, I only display work in person at live events

I live just like a solo traveling musician, same lifestyle, same ritual

Booking Gigs and Touring

I’m very selective with what art I share online. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

We live in a fiat world controlled by the central bankers who have the ability to print unlimited money so the independent musician has been robbed of billions of dollars.

The central bankers created a global music industry and only they chose who gets to move up in the industry, and if they do chose you , you have to do unethical things to stay in the club, sex, human trafficking etc like pDiddy

The only way to destroy this monopoly is to take power of money from them.

Bitcoin will take power from their corrupt banking monopoly but it's going to take a long time, until then musicians will continue to suffer and not make much money unfortunately.
