Make phones small again.
The iPhone 5 was the perfect size imo. Plus, the headphone jack is something that I miss a lot too.

I still have mine. Can't give it up for this reason. Perfect size and beautifully designed (although I really detest Apple for several reasons). Thus I continue using it as my daily kyc-phone lol
iPhone 13 mini. You can still get them as new devices. They will certainly be supported until 2027 or longer.

Biggest pet peeve is big phones.
Especially hauling it around in your pocket.

I recently got a Pixel 4a. I used to take for hiking trips so I wouldn't feel bad about losing it. Now it's my main device. It's so great ergonomically and cover all my need. Hope compact smartphones will come back!
Did you know we actually gained a finger dent from phones.. especially the larger ones

I second this, Iβm running the 13 mini, and despite new features I donβt even want to upgrade even if weβre free because I donβt want to be carrying an iPad in my pocket

I have a nice leather holster that fits on my belt that works pretty good with my Samsung big ass phone. I like it enough. it can be a bit heavy. I only buy a phone based on the camera honestly.
Could care less about the camera really. That new light phone 3 has my attention now though
