It feels like renting a car is a kind of negative lottery. You have to pick a company and hope they aren’t the one who has messed up and over booked themselves. Last time it was Budget that packed. This time Thrifty. Of course the way they overbook I’m much more likely to be caught in the crowd than not. Sometimes it takes hours. But it’s totally inconsistent which companies will have the problem. Or at least to me.

Why does renting a car take SO LONG? It’s going to take me two to three hours to pick up a rental car.
