By implementing the features everybody wants and uses those other apps for but improving upon censorship and shadow banning….? The censorship resistance is this products USP.

Nostr as a protocol had to sacrifice the ability to implement many of those basic-expected features in order to provide a basis for the unique features that it does implement.
Consistent follower lists are not that hard to implement. It amounts to one NIP. It's getting everyone to agree that is the hard part.
We could say the same about USDT zaps.
Not sure about that. USDT zaps are very complex as you are mixing two chains, two protocols and two layers. Client consistency can works in a single NIP as NIP-05 has proved.
I mean USDT over LN zaps (via taproot).
But zooming out, when new people come over I think not being able to delete posts in the same sense as Bluesky or X is a big one. Granted that screenshotting exists and things cache all that—but there is still a deleted-enough threshold that people expect.
It has boggled my mind every day since day 1 that nostr identity is based on bitcoin taproot. Yet none of the clients use bitcoin taproot. Seems a waste and I dont quite understand why. There must be something deeper at play.
It’s a odd one. Having kind0 events under a most-recent-overwrites logic is strange. Replaceable events in general I've never understood. Seems like a worst of both worlds situation.
I don't see normal everyday folks complaining about 30day bans. Only non NPC characters care.
