Is it on public-pool? You can add the ip address as a bookmark, the dashboard should show up… (as long as both devices are in the same WiFi network). Within the dashboard, you have access to all settings including the firmware updates…

Ugh that's another problem. I see it on my network but when I go to the ip it just hangs. This is one of the reasons I wanted to update the software. Thought it might fix that problem

Try restarting/unpugging the device, had this issue occasionally with mine too (osx & safari)….
