Context is important. Almost all of Nietzsche's writing is railing against nihilism. He blames the church for nihilism, for denying life. He asserts that Jesus was the first and only Christian. This is correct... Everyone is an Antichrist. Correct. Nietzsche was an Antichrist, and so am I and so are you and so is Seraphim Rose and so is everyone. Why? Because we indulge in nihilism.

That's what its all about. But Nietzsche doesn't write for people who don't look deeply. This might be because prideful people don't deserve his message. That's not a judgement on them - that's just the nature of pride. Rose didn't look deeply. He claims he read Nietzsche when he was younger - IF that's true, he only found his own thinking in it, instead of what Nietzsche was actually saying.
