Hopefully never. And global reset is probably global nuclear war killing nearly everyone turning MadMax/Fallout into documentary shows.

Or maybe earth is doing a slow reset with global climate change and we as a species are too dumb to notice.

Reset probably can occur without nuclear war. The pushing of the button may take a full generation to complete and may have already begun. The reset itself may last a few centuries, depending on what exactly is wired to the button. But- No reason not to enjoy life and love and create in the midst of the reset.
