so sitting here in iris, i can't actually zap a post, but i can see an icon for it.
there's no desktop equivalent of "hey flip over the screen and load the wallet app" that integration isn't there.
so i copy paste the address, and then in a seperate tab, send sat to the person.
#[7] I'm running into this same issue. I would appreciate if Iris worked the same way #[8] made it work in Snort: with intermediary pop-up that allows you to display lightning invoice if you can't open a wallet handling follow directly.
At the same time, I appreciate that client builders may need to offer a bridge; non-trivial change.

when im in an active convo with someone, i often like it just to acknowledge i read the post; kinda like an "i hear ya"; it's a weird habit i developedš

for me like is like āyeah, i agreed with youā or āyeah, i have nothing to addā - bc leaving conversation without a reply *and* a like seems like ghosting or avoiding conversation
or maybe i need to touch some grass - can do that now tho, itās winter here
I think this is very common, me included. Iām not sure if we should otherwise enable this āhead nodā acknowledgement signal or let it go.
there was a time on twitter where we (me and my network there on bitcoin twitter) often tried to refrain from it bc it feeds the algo; we then often used a š¤ and a reply back to that with a š¤ to at least end convo's
might be a good alternative for when the urge is really, really high :p

I recall using "like" for bookmarking on other places so that I can get back to it because it picked up my interest. Especially if the post includes a link or some further look and I don't have time on that moment.
It would be great if clients list down all posts I liked/zapped.
I think this is an example of a handful of use cases for likes that would need to be addressed in other ways in order to smooth the transition.
Treat likes as read receipts.
