#nostr s impact on the world is like finding a 5 story building, and deciding to redecorate the 5th floor. Maybe take down some drywall.

#bitcoin on the other hand, is like finding a 5 story building made of wood, and telling the world you have a tool that will allow us to replace the wood with steel with minimal disruption to the day to day.

I can understand why people won’t easily believe you in your ability to achieve the later, but the former is so simple. You just wake up to a nicer living space next month.

I think you're in for a wake up call on the disruption part. Odell says it nicely with "Mandibles then bitcoin standard".

A better analogy is probably "telling the world you have a tool that will allow us to dismantle the wood, let it burn for a few decades or more, then go through a long winter and then probably build a new house with steel instead"
