Right on. Although I think our rulers already know it is fake. Leaders who embrace it first are effectively calling bullshit on everyone else, and revealing the truth for all to see. And once you see it, you can't unsee it.

Seems like the first-movers aren't just calling BS on the fakeness of their national currency, but also on the state's ability to force the masses to keep using it?

Right now there are some pretty significant tax and technological barriers to living on a bitcoin standard so maybe it isn't perceived as a threat to fiat.

If I was in charge and I did view Bitcoin as a threat, I'd probably commit every available resource to taking iron-fisted control of the internet while publicly dismissing and belittling Bitcoin as nothing more than a digital ponzi. I wouldn't expect a successful warrior to advertise which of his opponent's weapons he truly fears most.

Then again, maybe we're all the idiots that Peter Schiff says we are. 🤣
