I've been sleeping on the floor for over a decade now. Returned from a backpacking trip and just kept it going. Don't really miss the bed at all.

I moved back to the mattress last night cause I was becoming sleep deprived and I'm about to drive 14 hours in a couple of days.. I'll resume the experiment once I get settled.
