What tools for accepting #bitcoin do you recommend to the merchants? What are the aspects that you are considering? 🧐

Here is my take on it:

It pains me to see flowcharts that dont use decision shapes or annotate the Yes/No outflow path. Im guessing how to read it. Any chance you can update that figure with at least annotations?

Which part is confusing for you?

Nice article. Here's my 2 cents...

I usually recommend mutiny or Breez. Breez has (depends on amount you accept) higher fees, but has built-in POS.

With mutiny, we setup a wallet, I send them let's say 3 times more onchain to that wallet and then invoice what I overpaid to my lightning wallet.

That way they get (some) inbound capacity so they don't have to pay for it and they see how easy and fast it is to pay with bitcoin.

With Breez i just explain the fees and how PoS works.

Then we usually talk about how channels work and how to manage liquidity (but with LSP you don't have to deal with that if you are willing to pay).

If they are interested we continue to talk about things like vexl or firefish to get fiat.

Nodeless.io is on my todo list because I think it abstracts away much of the complexity for very little money.

The API integrates with Wordpress, but I haven't gotten around to using it.

It is custodial, but users can set automatic withdrawls at a certain threshhold.

LNBits SaaS is another option.
