Nobody should know who or when I message except for me and the recipient. Similarly, with most people buying KYCed Bitcoin and somehow seeing no issue with it, it's very easy to see when you carry out transactions and to whom you're transacting with.

Imagine being comfortable with every transaction you make being publicly visible to anyone who wants to see it, and having those transactions tied to multiple forms of real world identification. How incredibly self-sovereign.
So let's say I bought kyc Bitcoin right now. You would be able to tell me to which address it went when I send it ?
If there's a data breach with the exchange you bought from, absolutely. Governments DEFINITELY can see it. You can be sure the IRS keeps a very close eye on all KYCed BTC.

I send all my kyc bitcoin directly to the government just to be safe. I know they’ll keep it safe and build roads or whatever
I totally forgot about the roads for a moment there. We're so lucky the government is there to build them for us. With all that kyc Bitcoin from the data breaches.
