“Believe in yourself!!” ✨

When teaching my niece how to skate years ago (while I was wearing boots) I would always tell her to believe in herself. Back in February this year I had to take my own advice and get back on the ice myself after 18 years.

Today was such a special day. When my nephew started playing hockey 6 years ago, I had always thought how I would love to be able to take him skating but wasn’t sure I would ever be able to. Well today in that exact same arena, I was able to join both my nephew and niece’s class skating. I had skated with my niece twice before but today was the first time I got to skate with him.

Today was also dress like a Christmas character at school. The kids asked me if I could bring over outfits and help them get ready beforehand. My day started at 6:30am to see their excited faces. So not only did I get to skate with my favourite kiddos but also an elf & Santa lol. 💕
