Sounds like you’re already there!! 😂
I’m dealing with that plus having to seal the tile itself after a deep clean… very tempted to just gut it all 🤣
Wait… sealing tile? Is that specific tile or all tile? Why have I not heard of this?
The previous owner used tile not intended for a shower. So it’s not good…. Need to either replace it or seal it
Oyyy I’d probably replace it. I’d worry any sealer applied afterwards would degrade with cleaning.
Unfortunately that would be a complete bathroom Reno which I’m not wanting to do lol. Sigh
Understandable. Where’s the fairy godmother and her magic wand when you need her?

oh boy, I'm in the same boat. I've been looking up tutorials on how to re-do it recently, mine is beyond saving at this point.
Please pass along any good tutorials. Apparently mine is beyond saving too. It just won’t come clean. Bad case of the dingies.
Someone on here was mentioned a hex drill brush , I want to try one, bc I hate cleaning tile.
Yes. Well, for caulk I have a low threshold for just doing it again. Tile can be tricky.

This is after scrubbing and the grout used to be white. I think it just has to be redone.
I would redo the silicone around the tub by heating it with a hair dryer, using a plastic tool once it’s gooey. https://youtu.be/_DI4hfHM_Hg?si=9ZmediVIP1IZ24_7
In between the tiles you can try grandmas stain remover and a firm toothbrush

Try bleach yet? Just spray it and come back in an hour. I also like 3M heavy duty brushes you can put some elbow grease behind.
Where the tub meets the tile use a bathroom caulk. Run a piece of painters tape, run a bead, dip finger in windex or use a silicone glove to run your finger across the joint. Pull the tape.

Power drill with a brush attachment works well too.
believe it or not, toilet bowl cleaner. clears out serious stains.
According to the googles if grout isn’t easily coming clean it’s time to redo the grout. Oy vey.
I have found bleach works well, but it needs time to work. You can get thicker, clingier stuff for toilets.
You can use also use paper towels to help hold the bleach in place too. That works well in the corners.
Don't use vinegar or acid based grout cleaners with bleach, or you will gas yourself out with chlorine. Wear old clothes and gloves too.
