If it means the difference between privacy and no privacy, it is your choice to make. But you absolutely do have a choice. Laws against it will not protect you. No one said the road to sovereignty would be easy, and you should not expect it to be.

Yes. I agree. Once things progress to that point, I'll just stop using tech even if it means going dark.

Precisely. I imagine there will be a good collective of people like you and me that will consider relocating to be geographically closer to each other as things progress (or regress) towards a mass survalence state. The Amish have been living this way for quite some time and actually thrive by some metrics. I think there's a healthy middle ground between ultra advanced mass surveillance state and the Amish of course. You don't have to stop using tech completely. Nothing wrong with my 98 Chevy 🥰 Small block 350 will live nearly forever.
