Basically Orthodox Christians celebrate on everyone else's Epiphany.

Julian Calendar: Created by Julius Caesar, it's slightly less accurate than the Gregorian, causing its dates to drift from the seasons over centuries.
Gregorian Calendar: Introduced by the Catholic Church in 1582 to correct the Julian calendar, it's the standard for most of the world today.
They are orthodox christians, not roman catholic.
Russian Orthodox Church still follows the Julian calendar, not the Gregorian calendar used in most of the world. The Julian calendar is currently 13 days behind, so December 25 falls on January 7 in the modern calendar
