With Fountain, you're putting your private Nostr key in a closed source mobile app, served to you by the censorship oppressors Google and Apple. They use the word "open" on their website, but their github doesn't have the code itself: https://github.com/fountain-fm

How? I thought Breez was just a lightning wallet?
The icon on the upper left part of the screen pulls up a menu from which you can select 'podcasts'. From there it has similar functionality to Fountain, except you're streaming sats from a wallet that you own the keys to.
I made a similar reply before seeing yours right below it.
breeze has had V4V podcast for a long time and was one of the first apps to have podcast and lightning. It has podcast listed on the left hand menu.
Yeah I think the problem AND the great thing is that there is many v4v rss clients. That's OK y'all. Some do things better than others. The ecosystem is evolving.
Try them all! See what you like. The attitude of shit on X app, use Y app is not helpful IMHO. All of them have pros and cons.
Breez has this yet, but I would say it's not a podcast first app. That's fine. Try it out.
Sphinx was the first podcast app with lightning and Breeze was 2nd. Breeze is a wallet that plays podcast and they only have ones that support streaming sats and Boosts so arguably they are the most bullish Bitcoin podcasting app.

The problem there is it’s essentially EOL and receiving few if any updates. Which is a big security and UX issue. The company is focused on their SDK and has publicly acknowledged they don’t know what they’ll do with the app and may sunset it altogether. Love Roy and the Breez app, but just important people know this.
That's a shame to hear. Since the code is open source, let's hope someone picks up the ball and runs with it.
