Nostr Poll:

Do I

1. Keep my reservation on a Boeing 787 and if we crash tell my wife, “I fucking told you” before we die.

Or

2. Ditch it and pay $2,088 for a different flight on a 767 which is an older plane with a good track record. (If unluckily that one crashes, my wife will say, “You idiot!” before we die.)

Leaning 2, but would almost do 1 just to let my wife know once and for all who was *right.*

I fly all the time, just do 1. The media is BS

You know what you have to do.

I flipped a coin and it said 2.

But I'd just keep the reservation you have. With how much media attention boeing is getting for their "faulty" planes, it feels false-flaggy or misdirecting.

1, higher chance you die in traffic than in an airplane

post-script -- we found out if we do 2, we can get a $1400 flight credit for 1, so it’s a closer call $-wise.

A crash seems pretty unlikely. But wear your seatbelt

(My wife would have us pay more for a safer plane I’m certain)

1. Boeing says they’re safe to fly. When have they ever steered us wrong?

1. Because of the “you idiot” factor.

Ha — went with 2 because we got most of the $ back in credit, it turns out.
