When Canadians join the military they pledge allegiance to the King of England. They do not serve the country or people. Same with the politicans and everyone who works in government.

The government also recently removed the rule that you have to be Canadian to join the military. You no longer need to be Canadian if you want to serve in the military. You can be a permanent resident.

This is a good strategy if you have plans in the future to make soliders follow unlawful orders.

You should never look up to soliders or worship them like they do in movies.

They will come after you if ordered by the government.

I don't even wear a poppy in November. Soliders do not fight for our freedom. It's all bullshit.

The American military is a little different. They pledge allegiance to protect the constitution.

But most soliders as we saw during 911 can be fooled easily into fighting overseas for a enemy that never existed. Fooled into destroying countries overseas in the pretense of fighting for freedom while their own country back home is suffering and deteriorating.

Keep that in mind and never worship the military. They will murder you if ordered.

I'm reminded of a quote by Admiral Adama from Battlestar Galactica (and I get the police have done some terrible things too):

"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state. The other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people."
