some people have gotten lard for free just by asking the butcher ... and i have purchased a bucket of tallow on Amazon for peanuts ...

given how affordable animal fat is in the west there is no reason to use inferior plant fat ...

if the entire planet went keto-carnivore your lard and tallow would cost 10X what they do now !

the other artificially cheap product is LIVER. like lard and tallow it is seem as a by-product when it is actually a superfood.

be careful not to overdose on Liver though - vitamin A is toxic in excess !
