Depends on the amounts and the person. For smaller amounts maybe get started with https://coinos.io. For larger amounts or once their stack starts growing, get them started with Phoenix or Muun. And then next level would be hardware wallet.

I know it’s for Canada, but Muun doesn’t work in US still right? I loved Muun 😢

Muun still works in the US. I use it occasionally.

Phoenix is the one that pulled out of the US. It still works, but you can’t get updates for iOS. For Android, you can install and get updates using nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8

lnbits.poster.place will work anywhere.

Whoa you’re right! I tried it earlier, but I guess Primal can’t pay empty amount Lightning invoices; once I added an amount it worked well

I thought they (or someone) left US App Store because of pressures after Samurai Wallet founders went down
