Managed to sync my obsidian notes to my new android phon, passing by Umbrel This took me a minute to setup but damn was it worth it.

syncthing would help

I am using syncthing. Found a very creative solution for getting this to work.

Any idea about the future of syncthing android? The git looks not promising.

I think there's a "fork" or another repo that's continuing the work.

You can search for syncthing on zap store and you'll notice 2 versions.

I'm not a developer so idk how to verify that the code for that 2nd repo is safe.

I haven't messed with zapstore, I currently go to obtainium first.

The idea of WoT for apps to install is interesting.

The idea that others can see what I installed I'm not as big a fan of.

That's if you use obsidian sync. Bit if you sync through syncthing with your local server, im guessing it's probably more secure. Especially if using syncthing.
