Meshtastic was interesting to me when you could build your mesh with less then 20USD. Nowadays you need more than that just to participate.

It's not affordable anymore and that might endanger the mass adoption.

Capitalists inflated the prices.

Mass adoption can only be achieved when plebs from third world countries can afford components without braking their daily/weekly paycheck.
