As strange as it may sound, I actually find something pleasantly fulfilling about having enemies. People have a tendency to view you as an enemy if their jealous of you for some reason. I had to go through this after I quit my job.

True, but it's also very unhealthy (for you). My heuristic is - avoid comparison to other people. Be self-referential. Are you better than last year?
Of course, I'm better than last year. The past three years have been incredible for the most part! And you're right. It is unhealthy. But, I can't stop them from viewing me in such a way. I worked hard on achieving my goals. I achieved them and they haven't. That's their problem. I wasn't trying to suggest that I go out of my way to look for enemies.
Perfect! ❤️
All I'm saying is that it's all what I call "other people problems". It's not good nor bad for me. I mean the existence of enemies, not their actions, they can have consequences for me.
Protip:
If you don't have enemies, it's because you've never uttered anything true or meaningful in your life.

I would like to add that if they're jealous of you, it means you've accomplished something they can't.
