Russian authorities keep a registry of individuals and organizations classified as "organizers of information transmission". Being on that list brings no advantages — if anything, it's a liability. Here's an idea: internet access in Russia is enforced by a whitelist, and unsurprisingly no Nostr relays are included. If I register a relay as an "organizer of information transmission", I could troll the agencies with letters demanding they add this official organizer to the whitelist.
Before that, though, I’d have to build a system that provides a year’s worth of logs for the police.
