Nostr Web Client

Well, just lost everyone I recruited to Nostr. Some were friends, some were strangers I met in public. The reason they all gave was very similar. They mentioned about how 100% of zaps and support goto Devs. There is 0% support for creators. I've seen creators write long articles and get zilch for zaps. But when a dev mentions he had a good poop for the day, thousands if millions of zaps are hitting that note. I feel slowly over time it's going to be the fail point of Nostr. Worst thing , some of the people praising and begging to zap devs, have the same IP address of some devs. You can built a platform. But after that it's just a blank canvas without any paint. The paint is the creators. Some of my favorite creators post here anymore. And I feel it's because of the same reasons of everyone I recruited who quit. I've seen people giving millions of sats away in contest and just for fun. Same thing. No one cares.

So with this Rant , I urge all of you. Go zap your favorite content creator. Before this turns into a ghost town with echoes of good morning and pv.

I've definitely seen a slow down in zaps, but that's not what brought me here in the first place. They didn't even really exist at first.

Engaging with others makes the experience more fun and helps to find people that I like to follow.

The social part of this project is definitely about more than being given money for my opinions. That's just a bonus when it does happen.

I typically zap small amounts to anyone who engages with me. I also find that to be very fun.

I came here to avoid algorithms, zapped away millions, I don't need zaps myself. But raising awareness the creators need to be supported also not just dev

I don't disagree that creators should be supported in whatever way we can support them.

I think Nostr is still very much in the building stage, however, and people, including creators, currently need to be using it because they want to, not for the rewards. I believe this is a part of helping to build the network.

I hope this isn't coming off as argumentative. Just my opinion.
