Yeah, it's about burying and sequestering old and decaying trees that release carbon after they have died. I'm not a scientist, but I would venture to guess that these decaying and rotting trees provide nutrients and other benefits to the forest floor and to new growth.
The hubris of these people. To believe they can control the climate, is complete madness.
