This is insane.
Today there are approx 193 nations in the world
Only 22 have never been invaded by Britain. The portions not in red below.
The area in red has been invaded by Britain.
Incredible how one small island caused such havoc!

I believe they call it spreading democracy. 😂
Silverlining, we got a common language which made business work wonders
Now do countries that are occupied by U.S. military bases...
Wait, what were they doing in Brazzilllll
The British had influence, but I think it was under Portuguese rule. 🤔 I believe this map isn't very accurate, but it's pretty close. 😂
introducing wheel?
That’s what happens when you have shit food
Napoleon would be impressed, but he also would be mad because he couldn't do it
Oh this video
Define invaded… I am from 🇨🇿Czech republic and I do not remember any occassion in which would UK invaded Czechs.
Now look at them.
I don’t think that’s actually an accurate map. Doesn’t correlate with the old British Empire at all.
I am not entirely sure about this map but here are some more resources.

How do they define invaded? I’m thinking they’re also including joint interventions during first and second world wars, so not the UK acting alone. This is different to the colonial British Empire.
Sure, it is very oversimplified. I mean, each conquest has its own stories & complexities, even in India when it was colonized by Britishers, one city was under the control of Portuguese rule for some reason, people still speak Portuguese in that city.
Yeah that’s true. Can’t remember the name of the place now. Full of
Portuguese architecture. Lots of complexities. Similar to Libya which was once an Italian colony in recent history - also full of Italian architecture as well as ruins/influence from Greek, Roman and Ottoman empires.
1930 was peak
Sorry. 👀
Something is wrong with the map. From Mexico to Chile, except Brazil and very few other countries, they were colonies of Spain.
The most important colonies were Mexico, Peru and La Plata (Argentina and part of Bolivia), and they were called viceroyalties.
The presence of the British Empire was thanks to piracy, mainly along the entire Pacific coast.
It's not very accurate, and oversimplified but here is some more explanation for this map

According to the book "All the Countries We’ve Ever Invaded: And the Few We Never Got Round To," there are only **22 countries** that Britain never invaded throughout history. These countries managed to avoid British invasions:
1. Andorra
2. Belarus
3. Bolivia
4. Burundi
5. Central African Republic
6. Chad
7. Congo
8. Guatemala
9. Ivory Coast
10. Kyrgyzstan
11. Liechtenstein
12. Luxembourg
13. Mali
14. Marshall Islands
15. Monaco
16. Mongolia
17. Paraguay
18. Sao Tome and Principe
19. Sweden
20. Tajikistan
21. Uzbekistan
22. Vatican City ¹²
It's fascinating to see how Britain's warfaring efforts touched nearly every corner of the globe, but these few countries remained untouched by British invasions.
