I would also look at alternative android markets. Fdroid is one but there are loads. You just need to be careful what you grab.

I have it. But I have only used it once. I forget what I downloaded with it. I have a Mac laptop and I know zero about Mac.

I will look around when I'm back on my desktop. Like someone else here, I can't get comfortable on my phone.

It looks like it's actually flatpak. Macs can run some dependng on the benevolent Gods in Cupertino, but to run any you want you'd need something like manjaro.

Remember that freedom you talk about. We #linux user already have it :)
