How would you like it if a ton of angry tourists showed up at your office and shouted at you all day? You would call security and get back to work. It's not the place for mass mob angry protests.

How would you like it if the management muted every shareholder meeting, locked the doors, and taped over the comment box—then claimed it was all for “progress”

If the users have turned into an angry mob, maybe this has been a problem for far too long, or a problem that has double standards, and that’s why they’re showing up as a “mob”

I would expect nothing less than management to mute me at shareholder meetings if all I did when I showed up was shout and scream and hurl personal insults. They would be right to do so. There is a proper way to voice your disagreements.

Then enjoy being censored I suppose.

Core has lost me entirely on this.

The proper way to voice disagreement is to simply disagree, doing that in a decentralized fashion across all the centralized platforms allows people to see that consensus is not being made.

Freedom of speech.

You misunderstand the nature of rough consensus. It has nothing to with how loud the mob shouts. Read this and expand your mind. https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc7282
