The people in power are no longer limiting themselves to jailing significant people who are not in the public eye, like Assange and Reiner Fuellmich. They now feel in position to jail anyone.
If you are justifying this with 'they must have done something to end up in jail', you are part of the problem. What they have done is threaten the establishment.
