But you still can’t buy Bitcoin directly from these wallets. The only work around would be customers with no bitcoin receive sats from someone who already has sats (a friend they came with or other patrons) on lightning that they would then send to the new wallet address.
This would be a quick and easy way to introduce someone to Bitcoin!
In New York, buying bitcoin is mostly limited to a small handful of approved exchanges, mainly Coinbase, Gemini, and Cash App, plus ATMs like LibertyX.
