For my first I had 2 weeks, I went back to work in horrible condition and facetimed on lunches it was a brutal blur.

My second I was the first in the company to take 5 weeks parental leave, I still went back sleep deprived but I got to spend so much needed time with my kids.

I will never get that time back with my first. My fiat job still runs and my sacrifice & parental leave are nothing but days on a calendar. Take every second you can for family.

I wonder what year parental leave became a thing.

You’re right.. that’s time you can never get back and I’m glad you recognize that. Many don’t ever look at it that way or possibly speak about it if they do feel that way. I’m a firm believer that actions speak louder than words though.

It’s tough when families are forced to endure this separation and lack of time together due to the price of inflation and having the accumulation of bills. Luckily Bitcoin fixes this!

2019 in Feb ish, my son was born in August of the year

That is wonderful! Too bad it wasn’t the standard from the start!

I can totally relate to this. When my first was born, I could only afford to take one week off (unpaid) and it was brutal. I definitely wish I had paid leave at that time.

My current fiat job is a total time thief too with really poor boundaries. But thankfully, I have much better career prospects now, so I can tell them to fuck off and not worry 😅
