Where do see that this was a BitAxe?
Take address that received it and paste it into ckpool. Should have type of miner listed
I want to buy one but its really overpriced. You can get all parts including the CHIPs for less than $15. I dont get why it costs sometimes more than $130 to buy
Have you ever done an electronics project? I have done many. Time. People value their time. Based on what I have seen and heard it isn't an easy project to build your own.
That said, I do want to build one myself but been to busy.
I know that R&D is โexpensiveโ but in this case the reseller take a huge margin
You sound like a marxist. Not saying you are one but that's a classic misunderstanding of the price system. This is just the price system. You are aware of the markup on clothes right? I bought one from a seller that donates back to the project. I consider a portion of the cost supporting the project.
By all means though, go build one. Or open a store and sell them at a lower price and corner the market..
Bro the whole project is open source ๐
I don't think its that cheap. The chips alone are at least $12
What Bitaxe has 3 TH/s? I'm assuming he plugged a few more in or has the new Hex right before the block was mined
Yep, been wondering the same thing. I want this to be true but have yet to see a trustless way to validate it.
No reason to not think the address was being mined to with a Bitaxe given the worker name and average hash rate for some time but...the 1hour average shows on CK pool (or from the screen shots anyway) it bumps to 2-3 TH/s unlikely only one Bitaxe was involved when the block was found.
Screenshots are not proof. Can I validate the screenshots myself? Again, I'm a fan of both BitAxe and CK pool. I'm just saying I haven't seen something that does not require trust. If I am missing something I'd love to be wrong.
Isn't there the bitaxe hex?
There is ๐ค not seen any for sale though but I've seen a worker name for one one Solo Pool a few weeks back. I assume testing
exactly!
I thought it was ~500GH/s
